Kuva Space is a space-tech company located in Espoo, Finland. We are currently building the largest constellation of nanosatellites equipped with a unique hyperspectral camera technology. In the attempt to build the world’s most effective service for global daily Earth Observation data, we use AI-based analytics to offer an adaptable and affordable SaaS platform.

Now we are looking to find a data analyst/engineer!

Main tasks would include:

Developing and demonstrating application prototypes for prospective customers using airborne and space-borne hyperspectral and complementary imaging data.
Translating business requirements to technical specifications.
Creating customer specific application use cases and data
Performing, coordinating and participating in measurement campaigns and in algorithm development work.

What is required for this position:

PhD/MSc in physics, mathematics, Computer Sciences, civil Engineering or other highly numerate discipline or industry experience in similar fields.
Experience in measurement technologies, data analysis and applications, preferably spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging or Earth Observation
Feel comfortable programming in Python using its extensive machine learning ecosystem.
Good communication skills with excellent English.
