Kuva Space is looking for a seasoned UX/UI Designer to develop a unique service and digital platform user experience for its customers. 

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Kuva Space, you will be pivotal in shaping how users interact with our global services and branded digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, marketers, data scientists, and other designers, to create a positive user experience that meets functional and aesthetic requirements. Your work will directly impact our customer's satisfaction and our company's reputation for delivering top-notch user experiences.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Leverage a human-centric design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience for our company’s products
• Research customers, competitors, and products
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers, marketing and engineers
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Create design documents that are ready for implementation by software developers. Work in close collaboration with developers to fine tune and clarify underspecified details in the designs.
• Create bespoke graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) for various brand communication
• Prepare and present prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Rapidly test user-centric designs with customers and iterate designs
• Validate products against business goals
• Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Own the company’s usability guideline

Qualifications / Requirements

• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent skills and experience
• 3+ years of demonstrated B2B experience in creating and implementing UX/UI design, especially experience in designing complex solutions for digital environments
• Portfolio demonstrating UX design projects
• Experience with user testing and usability analysis
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or similar
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
• Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
