Hanna-Maria Tarjamo

I work at Kuva Space as a Project Manager, especially on projects that rely heavily on our analytics team. My role is all about coordination and making sure everything stays on track: I oversee project progress and budgets, help ensure we deliver on our promises, manage relationships with funding organizations and project partners, and handle the official reporting.

What excites me most is the hyperspectral earth observation technology itself and that it can help solve many pressing environmental and geopolitical challenges. I was also inspired by the startup environment and the opportunity to work on European projects, such as ESA and Horizon Europe programs, given my background in Brussels. The people here are an international lot and a pleasure to work with.

Outside of work, I enjoy music, reading, and handicrafts whenever I find the time. I like to stay active and I’m learning to sail. I also spend time renovating my house and garden.
