Susanna Kukkavuori

I’m an Image Analyst in Kuva Space’s Data & Analytics team. I first joined Kuva as an intern, starting with annotation work for the machine learning models. Now I get to work on data and image analysis across different projects, supervising annotation tasks, and performing image quality control, where attention to detail really matters.

What I like most about working at Kuva Space is the atmosphere and the chance to grow. The work is really varied, and I get to help out with many different things while stepping outside my comfort zone and trying something new.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking in nature, visiting museums, and practicing painting and photography myself. I’ve always been someone who likes to observe things closely, and that carries over into both my work and my free time.
