Tommaso Canova

I work with data and develop AI models that turn it into meaningful insights for customers. My work is about helping transform satellite data into something that supports real decision-making. I use tools like Python, PyTorch, MLflow and QGIS, and one example of what I’ve worked on is a cloud segmentation model.

What I like most about working at Kuva Space is that our mission feels real. We are working to improve life on Earth, and much of what we do addresses environmental challenges and real-world problems. I really enjoy being part of work that can make an impact and help organizations make better decisions. I also appreciate that people here can share their ideas openly and be themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy sports and staying active. I used to play rugby from the age of seven, and these days I focus more on biking, going to the gym, and hiking.
