Hasan Satana

I focus on FPGA development as well as other embedded and operational systems. A big part of my work is building FPGA blocks and making sure they can be used with the Linux-based systems on our satellites. I also work on the interfaces between the main computer and the other satellite components, including the cameras, so my role is closely connected to making the whole system work together smoothly.

What I enjoy most about working here is the combination of freedom, responsibility, and the topic itself. Space is simply a very cool field to work in. Compared to a big company, I have much more ownership here, and the pace of development is fast. It’s rewarding to see results quickly in the lab and to be part of turning ideas into something real.

Outside of work, I like staying active. I’ve trained in judo for 20 years, and I also enjoy playing basketball.
