Lennert Antson

I’m a Data Scientist at Kuva Space, and I’m responsible for our data processing chain. My work focuses on the algorithms and calibration methods that turn raw Hyperfield imagery into analysis-ready data products. That means applying a whole range of methods, including machine learning, to make sure the data is usable and meaningful.

One of the best things about working here is that we launch our own satellites and work with our own data. It’s very cool to be part of a company that does everything in-house, from satellites and cameras to the processing chain. It also helps that I get to work with very clever and friendly people, which makes everyday life here really enjoyable.

Outside of work, I go to the gym quite often, and I’ve been doing boxing for the past three years.
