Henri Manner

I’m the Head of Production at Kuva Space, and I’m responsible for ramping up and developing our production capabilities. My role is to drive the transition from R&D into production by making sure our designs can be manufactured and tested at scale. In a way, my job is to ensure that the vision of our scientists and engineers is realized in hardware that can be built reliably and repeatably.

What I enjoy most is the level of challenge. No two days are the same, the responsibility is huge, and at the same time, I have a lot of freedom to think creatively and solve problems that are rarely textbook. We’re building something that hasn’t really been done like this before, and that makes it incredibly interesting.

Outside of work, sports play a big role in my life, and I enjoy a wide range of them. Tennis used to be my number-one sport, but these days I’ve had to admit that I’m more of a golfer. I play football in a recreational league, swim weekly to balance it out, and ski whenever I get the chance!
