Lorenzo Regalbuto

I’m a Space Systems Engineer at Kuva Space, with a particular focus on mission and orbit analysis. My role spans engineering activities at both the spacecraft system and subsystem levels, as well as radiation-related work, ground segment responsibilities, contributions to the AIT process, and hands-on work with the satellite.

My interest in space began with a broad and somewhat romantic curiosity about astronomy and physics, even before I studied engineering. What I enjoy most about working at Kuva Space is the startup-like environment: it’s open and approachable. People interact naturally regardless of titles, there’s a strong sense of mutual respect, and the atmosphere is relaxed and honest.

Outside of work, I love playing and watching football — Napoli is my team! I’m also passionate about cinema, especially auteur films, where the director’s personal vision comes through.
