Riku Hinkkanen

I’m the Supply Chain Manager at Kuva Space, and I’m responsible for our supplier network and especially direct purchasing. In practice, that means making sure the materials that go into our satellites and production flow through the right suppliers and processes. I also work with satellite logistics. One of the things that attracted me to this role was the chance to build this area from the ground up and really shape how it works.

What I enjoy most here is the people. I get to work with highly skilled and smart colleagues, which I see as a real positive. The organization is flat, there isn’t too much hierarchy, and it’s easy to talk to people at every level, all the way up to top management.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, going on walks with my dog, and spending time in nature. I also like sports and going to the gym.
