Yarden Milshtein

I am a Data Engineer at Kuva Space, where I work on calibration and validation. My job is to make sure the images we capture and the data we use match what is really happening on the ground. I studied aerospace engineering, and I am preparing to transition to satellite design, which I am excited about.

One of the best things about working at Kuva is the people and the atmosphere. People know each other well here, and that creates a really good culture both professionally and socially. I also appreciate being part of a company that does everything in-house, from satellites to data analytics, which means we get to see the whole process. My favorite part of my job is looking at satellite images and seeing the world from a completely different perspective, whether it is Mount Fuji or the Sahara Desert, all without leaving my chair.

Outside of work, I spend my time playing games on my computer and PS. I also enjoy badminton and squash, and like watching shows and movies. I am a huge Star Wars fan too.
