Olli Eloranta

I’m a Data Scientist at Kuva Space, where I work on analytical projects and develop AI solutions. A big part of my job is building AI models that extract information from hyperspectral imagery, such as detecting specific crops, identifying anomalies in crop health, or classifying land-cover features. Most of my work is done in Python, and I really enjoy turning complex data into useful insights.

I joined Kuva Space because space felt like a fascinating new field, and I was especially drawn to the chance to work with technology that could support sustainability and improve the world in a meaningful way.

Outside of work, I like playing video games, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors.
